Front 2 Back Landscapes provides professional garden design and landscaping services across the West Midlands and Worcestershire. With over 30 years of experience, I personally oversee each project from designing, quoting, construction and planting if required.
We specialise in hard landscaping, including natural stone walls, pools, waterfalls, timber pergolas, brickwork, patios, and built-in barbecue areas. We also undertake fencing, turfing, and artificial lawn installations.
After many years as a contracts manager for a leading landscape company, I now run this established business with my wife, who manages quotations and invoicing. All waste is responsibly disposed of by a registered carrier, with full documentation provided.You can expect a professional service from start to finish and a beautifully crafted garden delivered to the highest standard at a competitive price.
We offer a range of paving options, including pressed concrete, natural stone, and porcelain. These can be supplied in mixed sizes for a unique look or in single-sized slabs for a more uniform style. We can retain levels with various materials, with timber sleepers being the most economical option. Our pressure-treated sleepers offer durability for up to 15 years. For a more natural look, we also build stone walls in a range of types, colours, and sizes. York stone is a popular favourite for its timeless, rustic appearance. View Gallery
We can install traditional lap fencing with concrete posts and gravel boards, or you can upgrade to a stronger, more durable feather-edge fence. We design and build custom ponds to fit your space, using either durable on-site fiberglass construction or a budget-friendly liner. Materials: Our reputation is extremely important to us, which is why we always use MOT type 1 hardcore under all of our clients driveways, patios, and any other hard standing areas. We always point our paving with resin, which doesn’t only look better but it also stabilises and prevents weeds growing in-between the slabs. We only use Nam grass as we have tried and tested it over the years and have never had a problem with it. There are many different varieties, we can always bring samples for you to choose from. Our sleepers are pressure treated with fungicide and preservative to protect them against the weather and fungus. Cheaper alternatives are available but to maintain our own reputations we will only use these as they have a long life. We will never use the old-fashioned railway sleepers as they are harmful to the environment, and pets and children. We only tannalised treated timbers for longevity of the feature and this also applies to decking boards.
Construct: Once we have started your project, we will aim to complete the project in full before we start another project. We understand that having work undertaken at your property can be invasive, so we try to reduce the impact as much as possible. We always use boards and polythene when we have materials delivered, ensuring we do not damage your property. We have public liability insurance, certification can be supplied upon request. We always use a licenced waste carrier to dispose of our waste, copies of the waste transfer notices can be supplied for peace of mind and assurance that your waste is being discarded responsibly.
